Arab Telemedia Group upgrades its broadcast system with VectorBox

announced the installation of its new state-of-the-art digital broadcast solution from VectorBox. As part of ATG’s plan to launch multiple channels with a variety of content in Arabic, the new solution will enable broadcasting of live or satellite channels, as well as Video-On-Demand platforms. For decades, Arab Telemedia Group has produced premium Arabic content for a wide fan base, adding streaming and broadcasting to its mission to keep pace with the entertainment industry’s ever-growing market and technology.

Arab Telemedia Networks -subsidiary of the group- has completed the technical installation of the VECTORBOX playout system, with the aim of advancing in the launch of its new channels and platforms.

Activation of the system will ensure that the broadcast environment and production are updated to deliver outstanding content with the highest quality to the various channels of Arab Telemedia; that includes free YouTube channels, scheduled streaming channels, live streaming channels, and the video-on-demand platform Hekaya.

The new technology will support a faster and more reliable way to communicate with content creators and deliver their content in both live and on-demand frames. This is to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience, as well as transparent and protective treatment with global content owners and distributors.

This is part of the Group’s plan to make its massive library of series and films accessible to a global audience, while ensuring that industry standards are met and that the content presented is of the highest quality.
