Vector 3 has focused its research and development on the use of information technologies for the broadcasting industry. Vector 3’s products and expertise have pioneered solutions that are now industry standards, such as multi-format video servers, channel branding, add-on effects, and file-based workflows.
In 2015, the transition to HD was a real necessity and once again Vector 3 offered the best solution for the change. They started with 2 VectorBox systems, but were quick to opt for a third Vector Box unit to accommodate the needs of their studio setup.

Vector 3 and Metus
Metus is one of the leading companies in the MAM market well known for its world class products. Metus products are fully integrated with VectorBox. Integration is achieved when both sides automatically share all metadata associated with clips and playlists. Since the two companies' products are based on XML, the integration does not have any convoluted ad-hoc work and works seamlessly based on the free flow of information between the two applications. This integration is available natively, so the customer and the IS can have full confidence in the interoperability of the two systems.
Vector 3 and StarFish
Starfish Technologies are experts in advertising insertion and regional TV systems. They are leading the IP transition with their unique TS Splicer system that offers frame-precise transport stream splicing or GOP boundary - with minimal propagation delay - of encoded streams over IP infrastructure. TS Splicer supports multiple channels running on a single generic TI hardware chassis and is the first of what will become routine ie splicing transport streams without decoding. MediaGeniX develops and implements WHATS'On, the integrated software suite that manages cross-media scheduling and content lifecycle processes for linear and on-demand services.
